When you own a Ball Python there are some things to know about feeding this wonderful slithering creature. Here is some information for you for feeding your Ball Python:


* Sub Adults eat about one to three mice a week.
* A Full adult will eat about one or two large mice a day.
* Ball Pythons eat small rodents such as mice, gerbils or other small rodents.
* Try and have pre-killed rodents for your Python.
* Use tongs to dangle the pre-killed rodent over your Python.
* Pythons can go months without eating.


This is only a bit of information for you when feeding your Ball Python. Just remember to ALWAYS be careful when feeding this animal so you, yourself do not are bitten in the process of feeding it. Sometimes, when your Python does not eat, you might have to force feed the Python but this requires more information so maybe talk to someone who has done it before.
